FANTASY FICTION AT BEACRAN'S RING
Don't forget to share!
Short stories and writings in the Fantasy genre are kept in the ancient circle of Beacran's Ring To read the Fantasy Fiction contributions, simply scroll down and explore this ancient and mysterious site for yourself. Who knows what you might find if you grab your lantern, a flask of something hot, and head on through the trees on Bickering Mound. There are all kinds of strange reports and stories, which some call Fantasy Fiction, to read in Beacran’s Ring in Bickering on Sea.
Visitors are always welcome, but they are advised to use common sense in order to keep safe… unless they encounter the uncommon.
Visitors who enjoy Fantasy Fiction are encouraged to submit their own contributions to Bickering on Sea, whether they add to the history (and future) of the standing stones themselves or have to do with other entirely different planes and places. The Parish Council of Bickering on Sea are always excited to receive contributions and ask that you follow the link to the Writers page to find out how to do so.
The resident expert on Beacran’s Ring is Dr Flett, who has left a short message below.
Welcome to Beacran’s Ring.

It has long been held as a focal point of legends of mythical creatures, ethereal beings, powerful sorceresses, and figures of times forgotten. The stones and their origins are shrouded in mystery, and the mystery itself has attracted the interest of many who value curiosity and the possibilities of the unknown.
Archaeological debate rages over the original purpose of the stones. Were they a place of worship; a farmer’s almanac; perhaps a giant calendar? Whatever the truth, they continue to exude an atmosphere of otherworldliness.
At certain times of year, most especially Solstice-Eve lights have been seen winding their way up the Mound. And many who are brave enough to venture out at the most propitious time have told tales of strange folk walking abroad in the garb of days gone by, long after the Historical Society were abed.
If there are any reports and stories forthcoming, I would be very grateful to read them and include them in my ever-growing archive.
