HISTORICAL FICTION AT BICKERING HALL
Welcome to Bickering Hall, where historical short stories live. You are welcome to sit on the virtual furniture (no red ropes here), relax and enjoy the writings on offer. Here, historical characters both real and imaginary, and the authors who relate them, are free to tell their short stories, just for you.

Historical short stories are also available in Bickering Library, which houses stories of all kinds of genres.

There is a selection of stories here, but, as history is rather long and vast, more will always be needed. If you would like to add your own historical stories, submissions of these are most welcome. Your stories can involve characters already established in Bickering on Sea, they can include additional historical residents of which we are as yet unaware, or they can centre on places other than Bickering on Sea entirely. However, we do ask that you visit the Contributions Page to make yourself familiar with the approved protocols.
If you do wish to write about past residents of Bickering on Sea, we strongly advise that you first read the Short History of Bickering on Sea, in order to ensure that you don’t disrupt any of its rather delicate timelines. (It is rumoured that there are strange disturbances in the space time continuum around Bickering on Sea and its neighbouring villages.)
